Cover of Insurance : Mechanical/ electrical breakdown during extended warranty : Extended warranty would mean 1 year extra warranty which is similar to faults covered by the manufacturer in the first year i.e. the actual breaking or burning out of any component of the handset causing stoppage of normal operation and necessitating immediate repair or replacement before normal operation can be resumed. This cover will be IDENTICAL to the manufacturers warranty. The cover will not be available for any breakdown of the equipment or any component if it is not originally covered under manufacturers warranty. This coverage is available for 1 year from the date the manufacturers warranty of 1 year from the date of purchase expires. EXTENDED WARRANTY FORM :
Extended Warranty (EW) is a Warranty given by the MobileStore Ltd. (TMSL) to its Customer for
their Mobile Handsets - Purchased by them from any of its Store in India -for a period of one
year from the date of expiry of relevant Manufacturers Warranty.
This EW is given against Malfunctioning of Mobile Handset causing stoppage of normal operation
and necessitating immediate repair or replacement of spare parts before normal operation can
be resumed.
Terms and Conditions:
1. This EW is valid on any make or model of Mobile Handsets for one year from the Expiry of
the Relevant Manufacturer's Warranty.
2. This benefits under this EW shall be available only to the first hand user of the Mobile
Handset i.e the signatory of this form and this EW is non-transferable. 3. EW is valid and enforceable at any of TMSL service centers and authorized service centers of handset manufacturers in India.
4. EW covers electrical defects to the Mobile Handsets both in material and workmanship under
normal use, discovered during the EW period of one year. Any losses during warranty period
given by the manufacturer shall not be covered under this EW.
5. The EW start from expiry of the manufactures warranty for one calendar year.
6. New or Equivalent or reconditioned parts may be used by TMSL while repairing the Mobile
Handset.
7. Customers should keep back-up of copies/written records of all important content and data
stored in the Mobile Handset before the delivery of the Mobile Handset for EW service, and
disable any security passwords. It is Customer's responsibility for reinstallation all
such information, data, software, other applications and passwords in his Mobile Handset.
TMSL shall not under circumstances be liable, either expressly or impliedly, for any
damages or losses of any kind whatsoever resulting from loss of, damage to, or corruption
of, content or data during repair of the Mobile Handset.
8. TMSL's liability shall not exceed, in any case, more than 50% of the market value of the
Mobile Handset under repair or its depreciable value (at normal rate of 30% per year)
whichever is less.
EXCLUSIONS APPLYING TO THIS EW:
1) Damage caused by negligence and/or misuse of the Mobile Handset.
2) Damage caused due to use of Batteries, Charger and /or accessories not approved/

3) Faulty software program or improper electrical power supply/connection or fluctuation.
4) Cracks, Scratching, cutting of surfaces, etc.
5) Any repair/ alteration to the Mobile Handset carried out by any third party other than by
The authorised personnel of TMSL.
6) Accessories like, Battery, Charger, Hands-free, Bluetooth, etc.
7) Damages due to accident, fire, freeze, heat, natural calamities, war, civil commotion
nuclear perils, radiation , contamination ,virus,etc.
8) Damages due to bad commands or faulty signals from Mobile Service Providers.
9) Removal/deface/alteration of the IMEI number.
10) Waves emanated by Airplane or such other aerial devices.
11) No claims - other than electrical faults, subject to the terms and conditions herein-

DISCLAIMER :
To the extent permitted by applicable law TMSL does not assume any liability for loss of or
damage to or corruption of data, for any loss of profit, loss of use of products or
functionality, loss of business, loss of revenues or increased cost or expenses or for any
indirect, or special or consequential loss or damage.
DISPUTES :
Any and all disputes relating to this EW shall be subject to exclusive Jurisdiction of Courts
Courts in Mumbai only.
